ABOUT THE WRITER

Cody Harjo (Seminole/Otoe/Creek/Cherokee) holds a Bachelor’s degree in History modified with Native American Studies and a minor in Film and Television Studies from Dartmouth College.

While at Dartmouth, she received the Alexander Laing Memorial Prize for Excellence in Screenwriting. In 2006, she was a scholar for the Great Plains Chautauqua, a unique public humanities organization that allowed her to combine academic and narrative-style writing for live programs throughout the country. In 2007, she was a participant in the Disney-ABC Summer Film and Television Workshop. She currently resides in New York City.
